Puck Dx – The Robot in a Coffee Pod


Piers has 20 years’ experience at TTP working in the medical and IVD sectors. Recent relevant experience in IVD instrument and consumable design involving fluid handling, mechanisms, materials selection and working to relevant regulations. Piers has managed several large development programmes for IVD and medical products including transfer to manufacture in Asia and Europe. Piers is currently responsible for the development of TTP’s diagnostic platform ‘Puck dx’ and is a fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
a novel highly integrated single cell handling laboratory system; ongoing research and development work on several novel high speed and highly multiplexed PCR systems, including ‘Puck Dx’.
